At dawn they arrived.. till before the sunrise…Lukut challenge
I received few comments from some nice ppl who enjoy reading my crap blog and asked me to write more… after all I’ve not been scribbling quite sometime n got no idea.. so here u go! Anyway thanks for the compliments n support…
This crap blog attributes to one of my passions…fishing!! Some call us gila ke cuti raya gi fishing? Ewwww who cares? Raya dah abis…kalau ada open house ajak je la wa datang punya hahaha..
So, we had a fishing trip and spent a night at kelong lukut on 18th Oct to 19th …it has been so long I have not been fishing due to time constraint and no “kaki”.. ..just the 3 of us…Ive not been fishing with my fishing cum bandmate Shamsir hahahha….so its good to see him again at the battlefield…
We started to ‘battle’ against the fish around …not a chaos battlefield though…no sign of enemy coming in and it started to bore us…. 10pm the weather was quite cold..i didn’t bring my jacket…so I started to open my sleeping bag….damn! I need to pee…it was dark…toilet has got no light…ahhh this make me feel more loving to my stupid old Nokia 3200 cz it has got a mini torchlight!! I was thinking of throwing it into the sea but cancel it off due to its kindness to me….after checking the bait, back to my sleeping back….but then we were hungry…no food…lucky enough shamsir bought some mamee snack……how we wish that McD delivery can deliver to the middle of the sea… …woke up at 12am, 2am…still no sign of enemy intruding our territory….its either they are still enjoying attending hari raya open house and still full to bite the bait or our bait is not impressive enough…we have got everything just name it….shrimp, ikan kembung, sotong santan (shamsir’s recipe), and pumpun (my favorite bait)… so I stay put in my sleeping bag to catch some dream….dream to catch a marlin haha..
5.10 am my Cannibal Corpse alarm tone rang to battle again…still no sign yet…change the bait and cast again….oops! daily routine in every morning, ouch it has come to the peak… I need to ‘pret-pret’… quickly grab a bucket of water and my Nokia torch phone and there u go right into the sea babeh just like a bomb drop hahahah….lega siottttttttt……but during my prêt-pret an idea came to change the strategy….so after subuh prayer I changed the mata kail to a smaller one bcz each time we checked the bait, it was eaten by the small fishes…and the strategy worked!!! I got a palm size fish right after changing the strategy about 7am… but that was the only fish I got till 930 am hahahaha….then we packed our things and the boat came to fetch us at 1030am….
The moment we arrived at the jetty, the rain started to pour, lucky us! ….Then we had a nasi lemak ayam goreng and we ate like a hungry horse…we are not satisfied with the battle….we want some revenge ….behind the restaurant there was a jetty…it was still raining….we paid again and start battling at 1.00pm in the rain…no sign of enemy still….but at 2.00pm I got a fish slightly bigger than the previous one at kelong….that gave us a little hope…but still…no sign…..2.30 we left the battlefield heading towards KL….so I got 2, shamsir got 1, and asfiya none…so Asfiya needs to break the virginity of his rod at the next battlefield scheduled in November ( he bought the rod n reel on the day itself tho)
On the way back me and asfiya dropped by at hentian rehat seremban for jamak prayers hehe (as if KL is so far haha) and had some coffee n mee rebus…we saw some young chicaz nearby our table and tried to play eyes with them…when they left, their car was just nearby and guess what?? The father was looking at us!! Sighhhhhhh!!!!....
We continue the journey and during the drive, I put on some blasting metal songs which made my journey more enjoyable…asfiya had a nap like nobody’s business luckily no snoring hahha….
So that was the fishing trip for 2007 at the moment….we spent around RM 100 each and bring back no fish ?! hahaha…although we had 3 fishes in total but on the concept of ‘catch & release’ …we pity the fish tho and we care bout the habitat…we don’t really want the fish unless its nice to eat…we just want to play with them…..cant wait for the next battle….
Enemy? You mean your prey. hahaha poor fishies, they may have one the battle, but I think you'll win the war. hahaha
