Im sure most of us wouldn’t want to go to Africa
for a holiday. The only thing that would bring us to African countries would be our work. Correct? The only African country that we might reach probably would be South Africa
.. Same goes to me…never cross my mind to be there
But somehow I was directed to join this Prime Minister’s visit to Sudan
, Kenya
& Namibia
… of course to assist my boss..
Sigh!!........... So I went…
Sudan
is… awww….i want to go back home hahahha… 5 star hotel that we stayed was just like 2 star in Malaysia.
…. a chicken cost USD 10!! Gila ka mau hidup? Pringles cost 4 times expensive than Malaysia
But Kenya
is surprisingly cool. The weather is perfect for me…I thought it would be a hot country but it was nice not hot and not so cold…the development is less than Malaysia of course but acceptable and should be able to survive there… I brought back Kenyan Coffee..they said it’s the best in the world..so, being a coffee lover that would be the first I would buy.
Then we reached Namibia
…it was fantastic!!! Was like a European country ( according to some ppl) the city is so clean…. but then I found out that it was a camouflage… only the west side of Windhoek is a nice place but the northen and southern part is just wat I expected to be… anyway, the weather is also nice for me…didn’t get any sinus there haha..
but the most memorable thing is that during the business forum in the 3 countries, PM introduced each one of us from MITI, MIDA & MATRADE to the forum before introducing the Ministers who followed him. What an honour for us huhuhhuh..
Finally the last stop was London
. Finally after 9 years of failing to get there to further my studies due to the economic recession, I stepped my feet in England
. Although for a transit of one day, but at least got the chance to tour around the city and snap some photos.
Then time to go home after 10 days…arrived in Malaysia and had some jet-lag…got MC some more hahahha…..anyway, such a great experience.
Cool, I'm hoping to get to go to Egypt some day. A friend said she might take me with her the next time she goes back to visit family.
